Job summary
The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our skilled nursing team in Florida. The role includes administrative duties, supervising licensed and non-licensed staff, and maintaining quality assurance for the nursing unit.
Candidates must hold a current RN license in the state and have 2 years of supervisory experience in a sub-acute or long-term care setting. Flexible schedule including evenings, nights, and weekends is required.
Qualifications
- Must possess nursing knowledge and be familiar with long-term care regulations.
- Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
- Must be able to adjust to a flexible schedule including evenings, nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Perform administrative duties: forms, reports, evaluations, charting.
- Day-to-day supervision of licensed and non-licensed staff; counseling and evaluations.
- Maintain ongoing quality assurance for the nursing unit.
- Coordinate nursing services with resident services to ensure continuity of care.
- Make independent decisions when warranted.
- Deal tactfully with residents, families, visitors, and government personnel.
- Lead and supervise nursing staff.
