Job summary

Willow Creek Health Care Center in California is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the PM shift. You will supervise nursing staff, administer medications, and ensure care plan adherence in a busy skilled nursing environment.

The role requires an active CA RN license, at least 1 year of nursing experience (no new grads), CPR certification, and the ability to lead by example while communicating effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered California RN license.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience; no new graduates.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate, quality care and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and ensure quality care during the PM shift.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor resident care to ensure adherence to care plans and facility standards.
• Communicate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members regarding resident status and care needs.
• Assist in admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents as required.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Provide ongoing training, support, and leadership to nursing assistants and LVNs.
• Maintain documentation and complete reports as required by facility policies and regulatory agencies.
