Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's State Correctional Institution Greene seeks a Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead a nursing team and coordinate inmate health services. The role blends hands-on clinical care with staff development to maintain a safe, compliant healthcare environment.

You will supervise nursing staff, manage care plans, administer medications, respond to emergencies, and ensure accurate records and supply management.

Qualifications

• Three years as a Registered Nurse or four years of professional nursing experience.
• Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.

Responsabilités

• Oversee nursing staff and coordinate delivery of health care services for inmates.
• Monitor care plans, assess patient needs, and adjust staffing resources.
• Administer medications, treatments and immunizations per medical orders.
• Provide emergency medical care and communicate critical information in urgent situations.
• Maintain health records, prepare reports, and track controlled substances and narcotics.
• Sterilize equipment, monitor inventory, and ensure adequate supplies.
