The role requires MA RN licensure, 1 year of geriatric/rehabilitation experience preferred, CPR certification, and proficiency with MS Office. You will supervise staff, manage medications, and communicate with physicians and families as needed.

Qualifikationen

• MA RN license required.
• Minimum of one year in geriatric nursing or rehabilitation preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English; follow written and oral instructions.
• Fluent knowledge of MS Office and office equipment.

• Train department staff to maintain skill levels and comply with mandates.
• Exhibit leadership and diffuse difficult situations.
• Promote compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Report concerns to department head and participate in disciplinary processes as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; assist with ordering and transcribing orders.
• Collect data to aid nursing assessments and provide shift reports to CNAs.
• Review unit assignments and ensure tasks are completed before shift end.
• Communicate essential information to relevant parties.
