Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Trains department staff (new and current) to maintain skill levels and compliance with evolving mandates.
• Exhibits leadership mentality, including diffusing difficult situations tactfully.
• Serves as role model for the department by promoting policy compliance.
• Reports irresolvable concerns to the department head; may be involved with disciplinary processes.
• Administers medications and treatments according to physician's orders.
• Assists with ordering medications and transcribes/implements physician's orders.
• Collects data to assist in nursing assessments during shift.
• Gives daily shift reports to CNAs assigned to the unit before the shift starts.
• Reviews daily assignments for each resident and ensures completion by shift end.
• Gives and receives nursing reports on assigned units and communicates essential information.
• Assists Staff Development with orientation and on-the-job training for new nursing personnel.
• Notifies department director, physician, and family of changes or incidents.
• Assumes duties as assigned to provide optimal resident care.

Evening RN Supervisor With a Generous Sign on Bonus

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Evening RN Supervisor to join our team at Masconomet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Topsfield, Massachusetts. As an RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for the overall clinical operations and optimal quality of care for the patients. You will follow all health, sanitary, and infection control policies, and maintain established standards of practice, including nursing policies and procedures, set forth by the facility.

Position Requirements:

• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Massachusetts
• Minimum of one year of education or experience in geriatric nursing or rehabilitation preferred
• CPR certified
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English and follow oral and written instructions
• Fluent knowledge of the MS Office suite and other office equipment
• Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position assignment

• Assists Staff Development with orientation and on-the-job training for new nursing personnel as needed
• Notifies department director, resident’s physician, and family of a change in the resident’s condition or an accident/incident involving the resident
• Assumes any duties as assigned to provide optimal quality resident care
