Job summary

Keswick Multicare Inc in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Registered Nurse for Short-Term Rehab/Sub-Acute, full-time evenings. You will deliver, coordinate, and evaluate total nursing care for residents per plans and physician orders.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited RN nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure in Maryland without disciplinary infractions.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of prior continual experience in long-term care; 2+ years preferred.
• One year of recent Medical-Surgical experience is required for Baker Rehab.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care per established standards and care plans.
• Function as shift Charge Nurse and oversee care delivery by RNs, LPNs, and GNAs.
• Conduct resident/patient assessments on admission and per unit standards.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and regulatory compliance during rounds.
• Maintain clinical records; update as needed per policy.
• Transcribe physicians' orders to charts and medication records.
• Administer medications and treatments per procedures.
• Receive and relay reports between shifts during rounds.
• Complete documentation for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
