Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program.
• Experience: 1 year RN experience.
• Licenses: Texas license and BLS as required by AHA/ARC.
• English literacy of reading/writing required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document physical, psychosocial, and emotional assessments.
• Develop an appropriate plan of care with patient and family.
• Coordinate the interdisciplinary plan of care with the health care team.
• Prioritize nursing interventions based on assessment and changes in condition.
• Document interventions and modify the plan of care as needed.
• Adhere to hospital policies and ANA standards in practice.
• Provide patient education and discharge planning.
• Conduct hourly rounds and support patient/family involvement.
