Beth Israel Lahey Health’s 2 East unit at Milton is hiring a Registered Nurse. You’ll join a collaborative medical–surgical and telemetry team delivering safe, patient-centered care on a 25-bed unit. Evening shifts 11a–11p, 36 hours/wk with every other weekend and holidays.

Qualifications

• Recent acute Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience preferred.
• License/Registration: Current licensure as a Registered nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing,
• Skills/Certification: Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association before hire.

Responsabilités

• Provides patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and evidence-based care planning.
• Considers cultural beliefs and uses interpreter services when needed.
• Provides and coordinates health teaching for patient and/or representative.
• Collaborates with other health care providers to ensure quality and continuity of care.
• Assists in ordering and upkeep of supplies as assigned by the Nurse Manager.
• Maintains competencies required for the patient population served.
