Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Auburn provides individualized nursing care to residents using assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. You collaborate with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and education.

The role may include charge nurse responsibilities and delegation to licensed and unlicensed staff within state regulations. Applicants should hold a currently active RN license in the state and have a preferred nursing

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate resident care.
• Coordinate care, assess residents, educate families and monitor outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including providers and colleagues.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff as appropriate.
