Care Initiatives in Iowa is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for evening shifts (2 PM–10 PM) to support our skilled nursing communities.

Provide compassionate nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents, document care, and collaborate with CNA, LPN, and providers to maintain safety and quality. Qualifications

• Valid RN license in good standing and Iowa eligibility.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of federal/state long-term care regulations.
• Strong empathy, respect, patience, and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit to ensure quality care and safety.
• Administer medications and treatments on time and accurately.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers and the team to promote high-quality care.
• Communicate care needs with residents and families.
• Document care in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
