Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Float Team at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. The 12-hour evening shift runs 3:00 pm to 3:30 am with weekend rotations and holiday requirements.

The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care and coordinating with the healthcare team. Applicants should have a BSN or BS/BA in Nursing, an RN license in PA, BLS, ACLS, and preferably acute care experience.

Qualifications

• BSN or BS/BA in Nursing is required.
• Current RN Pennsylvania state license required.
• Current BLS required.
• ACLS required or obtained by orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Communicate plan of care and patient condition to healthcare team.
• Complete admissions and reassess patient using nursing process.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes per policy.
• Participate in discharge planning with a multidisciplinary team.
• Support end-of-life care and family grieving processes as appropriate.
