The ideal candidate holds an Alabama RN license, CPR/BLS, and has prior leadership experience in nursing settings.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama RN license in good standing required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Admissions experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide evening nursing leadership and oversee operations.
• Complete nursing assessments and admissions documentation.
• Review orders, medications, and resident care needs for admissions.
• Coordinate admissions with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs; mentor staff.
• Conduct rounds; respond to changes in resident condition and emergencies.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and care team.
• Ensure documentation, infection prevention, safety, and regulatory compliance.
