Job summary

Lake Forest Place in Lake Forest, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for rotating shifts on the skilled nursing and assisted living departments. The role runs 3pm-11pm with every other weekend coverage and offers hourly pay between $37.65 and $56.47, plus shift differentials.

Qualifications

Graduation from an approved registered nursing program.
Active, current Illinois license to practice professional nursing.
CPR Certification Required - Accredited by American Heart Association.
One year as an RN in a hospital or long-term care setting with adults preferred.

Responsibilities

Practices nursing within the scope of standards of nursing practice.
Supports Nursing Department policies and procedures.
Observes and preserves residents' rights.
Communicates with supervisors, co-workers, physicians, residents and families.
Accepts accountability for clinical care of assigned residents.
Makes rounds on residents and assesses changes in condition and response to care.
Monitors status of residents with acute problems.
Provides direct nursing care to residents needing skilled care.
Administers medications and treatments per policies and procedures.
