Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) to provide frontline clinical leadership and exceptional resident care in our skilled nursing community in Eureka, KS. You will oversee nursing services during shifts, supervise caregiving teams, and ensure residents’ needs are met with professionalism and compliance.

The role requires an active RN license and experience in long-term care, with opportunities for professional growth and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services and clinical supervision during assigned shifts.
• Ensure compliance with nursing care standards, policies, and procedures.
• Supervise nursing staff including LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs.
• Complete resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians, and leadership.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols.
• Conduct routine rounds to ensure resident needs are met.
• Address, document, and report incidents and concerns, including adverse events.
• Ensure supplies, equipment, and medications are available and communicated to leadership.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality care and resident safety.
