Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse (RN) to provide frontline clinical leadership and exceptional resident care within our skilled nursing community in Baxter Springs. You’ll oversee nursing services during assigned shifts, supervise caregiving teams, and ensure care meets state and Americare standards with professionalism and compassion.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical leadership and judgment.
• Familiarity with state and federal nursing regulations.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or senior living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services, administration, and clinical supervision during assigned shifts
• Ensure compliance with nursing care standards, policies, and procedures
• Supervise nursing staff, including LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs
• Complete and update resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation
• Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians, and nursing leadership
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
