Brooke Glen Behavioral Hospital is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for 20 hours per week. The role is scheduled Monday–Friday, 7pm–11pm, in Fort Washington, PA, with competitive pay and shift differentials.

Opportunity for overtime exists for interested candidates. Brooke Glen has a long history of psychiatric care in the Philadelphia area, with a 146-bed facility and a focus on individualized programs.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Currently licensed to practice by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Prescribes, delegates, coordinates, and evaluates patient care with health team members per nursing process and standards of care.
• Supervises Mental Health Technicians.
• Employs communication, interviewing techniques, and problem solving during psychotherapeutic interventions.
• Accurately administers medication to patients.
• Assists in prioritizing and formulating a plan of care based on assessment and policy.
• Provides education to patients and significant others on identified needs and limitations.
