Brooke Glen Behavioral Hospital in Fort Washington, PA is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse (20 hours/week) for evening shifts (Mon-Fri, 7pm-11pm). Our facility provides psychiatric services with a team-focused approach and an emphasis on patient care and staff development.

Responsibilities include supervising Mental Health Technicians, administering medications, conducting assessments, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prescribes, delegates, coordinates, and evaluates patient care with the health team per nursing standards.
• RN has supervisory responsibilities for Mental Health Technicians.
• Use communication, interviewing, and problem solving in psychotherapeutic interventions.
• Administer medications accurately to patients.
• Prioritize and plan care based on integrated assessment per policy.
• Educate patients and families on needs, communication, and health basics.
• Complete comprehensive nursing assessment and patient interview per policy.
