Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking an experienced RN to join the Community RN Career Direct Care Pathway, based at Lowell General Hospital. This role offers evening shifts and a total of 40 hours per week with weekend and holiday commitments.

You will operate within an acute care transition team to ensure safe, seamless patient flow and top-notch inpatient nursing care. You will be empowered to practice at the top of your license, apply evidence-based interventions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience level varies by RN level I–IV.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Evaluates and applies evidence-based practice.
• Performs accurate clinical assessments and develops individualized care plans.
• Delivers acute inpatient nursing care, especially in the Emergency Department.
• Maintains patient safety, communication, and effective teamwork.
• Assists with discharge planning and family education.
