Tufts Medicine's Lowell General Main Campus Emergency Room seeks a registered nurse to join the Acute Care Transition Team for evenings, 32 hours per week, with weekend and holiday commitment. You will provide expert inpatient nursing care, partnering with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe transitions and patient flow.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN licensure is required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Department-specific certifications may be required depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Evaluates and applies evidence-based practice to clinical care.
• Conducts accurate clinical assessments and documents findings.
• Develops and evaluates patient-specific plans of care.
• Uses nursing judgment to tailor care plans.
• Manages patient assignments and delegates tasks as needed.
• Develops discharge plans and coordinates referrals.
• Precepts and mentors new staff members.
• Pursues professional development and participates in departmental committees.
