Job summary

Lowell General Hospital is seeking an experienced RN to join the Acute Care Transition Team. You will provide expert inpatient nursing care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on safe transitions while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

You’ll apply evidence-based interventions and support patient flow throughout the hospital journey. Candidates should hold MA RN licensure, a current BLS, and be adaptable to shift schedules including evenings, with part-time or full-time options.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN licensure is required for this role.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Department-specific certifications may be required depending on patient care needs.
• Experience level aligns with RN Career Direct Care Pathway level I–IV.

Responsibilities

• Participates in and maintains awareness of performance improvement initiatives.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates the patient’s individualized plan of care.
• Delivers acute inpatient nursing care primarily in the Emergency Department.
• Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow and safety.
