Job summary

Vivmark Residential, formed through a merger of AvalonBay Communities and Equity Residential, seeks a maintenance worker in New York to uphold property grounds and prepare market-ready apartments. You will address resident requests and perform general repairs, including painting, lighting, and drywall tasks.

The role requires painting expertise, mechanical and electrical knowledge, a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Strong painting expereince.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• English oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining physical condition of community grounds, exterior, and common areas.
• Assisting in preparing market-ready apartments, including painting and general repairs.
• Responding to resident service requests promptly.
• Performing various maintenance functions, such as exterior light bulb changes and equipment maintenance.
• Assisting other service staff with projects, including apartment cleaning and drywalling.
