Pittsburgh Mercy is seeking a Residential Care Advisor to provide assistance and training to adults with Intellectual Disabilities and Serious Mental Illness in our residential treatment locations. The role emphasizes a strengths-based approach and mentoring a team in a 56-bed Personal Care Home in Wilkinsburg, PA, located on a bus line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR High School Diploma/Equivalent and 1 year of direct care experience.
• Valid Driver license
• Act 33/34/73 clearances
• Pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and training to adults with Intellectual Disabilities/Serious Mental Illness in residential locations.
• Share a strengths-based approach and mentor team members.
• Work in a 56-bed Personal Care Home located in Wilkinsburg, PA, near a bus line.
• Engage residents on site and in the community, supporting socialization and activities.
• Promote residents’ well-being through daily interactions and participation in activities.
