Job summary

Native American Rehabilitation Association Northwest (NARA NW) is seeking a Residential Assistant for our Youth Residential Treatment Center in Gresham, OR. This onsite role supports youth, administers medications, and ensures a safe living environment during evening shifts.

Ideal candidates have driving privileges, a valid license and auto insurance, and will complete background checks and required trainings within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Driving is a requirement for this position.
• Current, active driver's license.
• Current, active auto insurance.
• Over the age of 23 (per our insurance policy).

Responsibilities

• Attend to youth-related needs during scheduled shift.
• Monitor youth during daily living activities and document appropriately.
• Provide trauma-informed support and safe environment.
• Administer medications and maintain MAR records.
• Attend staff meetings and training.
• Maintain a clean, orderly facility while on duty.
• Perform safety checks and communicate openly with youth and coworkers.
• Facilitate after-hours youth activities and supervise chores.
