CHR is seeking a Residential Aide for a part-time position in Willimantic, CT. The role supports a 12-bed residential program, assisting residents with daily living skills, medication monitoring, and group activities, while ensuring compliance with licensing standards and treatment plans.

The position requires a High School Diploma, experience in Human Services, and a valid driver’s license with CPR & First Aid certification (or obtained within 90 days).

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Human Services with responsible work history.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record; CPR & First Aid Certification required OR must obtain within 90 days of employment.

Mansioni

• Maintains physical environment and program standards.
• Monitors medications of all residents.
• Transfers information to staff regarding day’s events.
• Teaches residents rehab areas: nutrition, meal prep, hygiene, budgeting, home care skills.
• Assists/Manages administrative tasks as directed.
• Prepares and facilitates educational and skill-building groups.
• Collaborates with providers and families.
• Assists residents with medical and psychiatric needs.
• Maintains documentation per standards.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings.
