Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a Residential Advisor for the Penobscot Job Corps Center, 2:45pm-11:45pm, in Maine. This full-time role supports students, monitors safety, and maintains dorm records while coordinating with staff to ensure a positive learning environment.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, with 1–3 months related experience preferred. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with compensation $18.00–$21.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet at least bi-weekly with assigned students.
• Manage student incidents to protect students.
• Notes individual meetings with students to address issues and plans to resolve problems.
• Notify other staff to coordinate services by memo, phone, or in person.
• Dormitory inspections yield acceptable ratings.
• Participate in events and model professional employment skills.
• Complete assignments within timeframes with minimal corrections.
• Maintain up-to-date student folders and records of services provided.
• Ensure data accuracy and timely submission of logs and reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
