United Methodist Communities (UMC) is seeking a part-time Homemaker for Pitman Manor in downtown Pitman, NJ. The 4:00 pm–7:00 pm shift includes weekend and holiday rotation, with duties spanning dining support, housekeeping, laundry, and resident assistance.

Qualifications

• Will ingness to complete ServSafe certification (provided by UMC).
• Will ingness to complete Dining Assistant Training (provided by UMC).
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be at least 16 years old (candidates under 18 will need a NJ Employment Certificate).

Responsibilities

• Handle dining, housekeeping, and laundry duties for residents.
• Prepare and serve meals following approved menus and recipes, including special diets.
• Support residents during meals and respond to their needs.
• Clean bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchen areas to keep spaces safe and welcoming.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Wash, dry, and fold laundry and handle linens properly.
• Keep resident rooms and common areas clean and well maintained.
