Job summary

High Point & Affiliated Organizations is seeking a Recovery Specialist for the Transitional Support Services in New Bedford, MA. This part-time evening shift role requires a High School diploma or GED and offers a pay range of $21-$26 per hour.

The position is on-site and entails 32 hours per week, with Sunday to Wednesday 3pm-11:30pm. You will support individuals in a detox-to-step-down program, ensure safety, maintain confidentiality per 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA, and document in the EHR hourly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required.
• Confidentiality and HIPAA/42 CFR training preferred.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Federal Regulations compliance and confidentiality per 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA.
• Monitor shift assignments and maintain safety in the unit.
• Document patient status hourly in the EHR.
• Maintain a clean, therapeutic milieu and restock supplies as needed.
• Attend supervision and mandatory meetings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
