Job summary

DayToDay Health is seeking compassionate adults to join a trauma-informed recovery program for women recovering from substance use disorders, including mothers with infants up to 3 months old. The Support Professional will provide structured support, monitor wellbeing, and assist with daily activities in a confidential setting.

Responsibilities include documenting observations, managing medications, and transporting residents to appointments while participating in ongoing trainings.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; DHS 83 training preferred but can be completed post-hire.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills are advantageous.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support residents in their recovery journey with encouragement and structure.
  • Monitor well-being and document observations.
  • Administer or oversee medication use.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as meals, housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation.
  • Respond to emergencies and crises.
  • Transport residents to appointments and activities.
  • Collect urine samples and administer breathalyzer tests.
  • Facilitate educational and life skills activities.
  • Attend staff meetings and trainings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
