Job summary

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed approaches and 12-step modalities.

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient activities and conducts safety checks; completes notes and end-of-shift reports.
• Provides direct patient care with focus on safety and trauma-informed interactions.
• Assists with patients' daily schedules and activities.
• Recognizes signs of emotional distress and responds to escalations appropriately.
• Assists with crisis de-escalation and emergency response procedures.
• Communicates patient concerns to clinical and nursing staff; maintains confidentiality.
• Supports patient belongings processing and transition activities during admissions and discharges.
• Maintains a respectful, therapeutic environment and supports recovery-oriented care.
