Job summary

Catholic Charities Worcester County is seeking a full-time Recovery Specialist for evening shifts (Sunday–Thursday, 3 pm–11 pm) at the Leominster location. The role involves guiding residents, supervising daily activities, and ensuring program policies are followed to maintain a supportive recovery environment.

The position requires First Aid/CPR readiness and experience in substance use recovery services. You will work closely with staff to manage medication supervision, counseling, and client

Qualifications

• Willing to obtain CPR-First Aid certification.
• Trained in overdose prevention / Narcan or willing to obtain certification.
• Knowledge of human services with emphasis on substance use and recovery home models.
• Basic computer literacy and comfort with standard software.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily schedules of the Women’s Recovery Program and its residents.
• Monitor and document residents’ medication intake and disposal per program policy.
• Act as counselor, lecturer, and group leader in the rehabilitation program.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings and monthly trainings.
• Admit new residents when counselors are unavailable.
• Transport clients as needed.
