Job summary

Apple Valley Villa, a Cassia community, is seeking a Receptionist/ Caregiver to join the Apple Valley, MN team. The roles involve front desk coverage, greeting visitors, task support, and person-centered care for residents with ADLs. Caregivers will also perform med passing.

The position is part-time, evenings, with shifts 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM, and requires HHA/PCA/CNA experience or equivalent training. Competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with previous customer service or reception experience.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Place a high priority on customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to prioritize and organize multiple tasks.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to work with frequent interruptions.
• Dependable, punctual and able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care and services to our residents
• Administer medications to residents as needed
• Communicate any resident concerns with licensed nursing staff
• Assist in resident emergencies
• Answer and transfer incoming phone calls as needed
• Manage phone communications coming into the facility.
• Greet visitors and guests professionally, warmly and determine their nature and purpose of visit.
• Direct and/or accompany visitors and guest to appropriate destination.
• Perform various typing assignments and miscellaneous clerical duties for all departments as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as requested.
