Job summary

Requirements include a High School Diploma and RDCS or RCS certification, plus proficiency with cardiac imaging software and strong communication skills. Per Diem, evening shifts, hourly pay apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Active certification as RDCS through ARDMS, or RCS status.
• Proven ability to independently operate complex cardiac ultrasound and imaging software.
• Strong interpersonal, technical, and written communication skills to collaborate with physicians.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the cardiology suite by managing supplies, verifying orders, and reviewing schedules.
• Explain ultrasound procedures to patients and assist with ambulatory support to create a comforting experience.
• Position patients, apply gels and electrodes, and optimize equipment for quality signals.
• Produce high-quality cardiac images by adjusting transducers and beam focus while reducing artifacts.
• Record measurements of heart structures and blood flow for clinical comparison.
• Complete administrative tasks, archive records, and safeguard patient data.
• Collaborate with the lab team by performing EKGs, mounting Holter monitors, and assisting with stress testing.
