Job summary

A Gem of Joy ABA in Maryland is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our Heart of Joy & Journey Partner program. You will implement ABA therapy under BCBA supervision, focused on learners with autism and related needs.

Working hours are Monday through Friday, 4-8 pm, totaling 20 hours per week. The role emphasizes collaboration with families and care teams, timely documentation, and a commitment to quality, respectful, and joyful service delivery.

Qualifications

• RBT certification active and current
• Minimum 1 year experience with autism or I/DD
• Experience implementing ABA programs preferred
• Education: HS diploma or GED required
• Availability to work 4–8 pm, Mon–Fri

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision
• Complete session documentation accurately
• Maintain positive relationships with team and caregivers
• Escalate learner or family concerns to the supervising BCBA
