Job summary

Advocate Health’s Radiology Xray department in Charlotte is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations under radiologist supervision. The role requires accurate patient history documentation, identity verification, and preparation of contrast media as needed.

The position features a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, with monthly and holiday call obligations and a sign-on bonus eligibility for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to the procedure on requisition.
• Confirms patient identification and validates proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Operates radiographic equipment with proper positioning.
