Job summary

Trinity Health MI is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to work evening shifts at Chelsea Hospital. The role involves reviewing physician orders, positioning patients for imaging, and assisting radiologists in diagnostic procedures. Required qualifications include completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program, BLS certification, and at least one year of experience preferred. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $27.25 per hour along with a comprehensive benefits package effective from day one.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program and registration as a radiographer by the ARRT.
• Current BLS certification from the AHA.
• Good working knowledge of anatomy and understanding of principles of physics.
• One year of experience as a radiologic technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review requests for procedures and schedule patients for radiologic procedures.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the procedure.
• Consult with the radiologist for additional diagnostic images.
• Assist the radiologist in the performance of routine radiographs.
• Monitor patient's condition during procedures.
