Job summary

Baystate Health in Springfield, MA is seeking a Radiology Technologist for full-time evening shifts. You will operate diagnostic X-ray equipment, perform fluoroscopy and portable imaging, and assist with intra-hospital procedures under Radiologist supervision.

You will ensure patient safety, maintain image quality, and comply with JC, MQSA, ACR, and DPH/CMS standards while supporting a multidisciplinary team across NICU, OR, ER and inpatient units.

Qualifications

• MA RT license and ARRT Registry required.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic X-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic films.
• Perform fluoroscopy, invasive exams, and portable imaging in NICU, OR, ICU, ER.
• Maintain patient safety and accurately identify patient information.
• Ensure equipment functionality; perform quality checks and routine cleaning.
• Communicate with radiologist, physicians and staff; respond to emergencies.
• May float to other Baystate Health locations to support staffing.
