Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Wyoming, MN seeks a Radiologic Technologist to join the imaging team at Lakes Medical Center. This .6 FTE position follows a multi-week rotating schedule with no weekends, and a potential sign-on bonus prorated by experience.

Responsibilities include performing radiographic imaging, maintaining patient safety, and collaborating with the health care team. ARRT certification and BLS are required; BS/BA and 3 years hospital experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification/Registration is required.
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross) is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient care.
• Performs examinations.
• Identifies relevant data from images accurately.
• Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional.
• Participates in creating a culture of patient safety.
• Demonstrates knowledge of emergency preparedness.
• Verifies patient identification and documentation.
• Educates patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam.
• Achieves quality diagnostic images through proper positioning and factors.
• Ensures patient data integrity.
• Completes computer functions including scheduling, billing, and image transfers.
• Marks and archives images accurately.
• Works as an active team member.
