Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our Weekend Program, offering a flexible schedule and a 6K sign-on bonus. This role supports radiographic procedures, patient communication, and collaboration with radiologists in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Weekend shifts are Friday–Sunday with quarterly weekend rotations, incorporating call and holiday coverage. The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and total patient care across diverse ages and conditions.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Wisconsin radiographer license.
• ARRT RT registration.
• BLS certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and intermediate radiographic procedures including general diagnostic and general fluoroscopic.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain clinical history.
• Position patients and select exposure factors, ensuring radiation safety.
• Identify and label images, verify requisitions, and process images for accuracy.
• Assist and consult with Radiologists.
• Prepare and maintain records; enter data into the radiology information system; document billing codes.
• Assist with patient positioning and transport; lift up to 50 lbs; use proper technique.
• Provide age-appropriate care per department policies.
