Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiology procedures, both routine and specialized.
• Explains procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and gain cooperation.
• Prepares and positions patients for imaging studies.
• Determines exposure factors based on patient size and body region.
• Operates radiologic equipment and moves it into position for exams.
• Maintains images with proper identification and quality control.
• Performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Complies with radiation protection practices to minimize exposure.
