Job summary

Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics seeks a Radiologic Technologist to join the Diagnostic Radiology department. The role involves performing radiographic exams with attention to image quality, patient safety, and ALARA principles across a busy hospital campus.

Work schedule is full time, 36 hours per week (non-exempt) from 4:00 pm to 1:30 am, Tuesday through Friday, in Salem, Oregon. Comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Licensed with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in Radiography.

Responsibilities

• Select appropriate radiation exposure settings based on patient body type and condition.
• Capture high-quality images and tailor exams to patient needs.
• Document thorough patient histories including symptoms and onset.
• Provide compassionate care while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine care, identify malfunctions, and report issues to minimize downtime.
• Utilize Radiant Radiology, EPIC, and PACS for imaging requests, documentation, and charge entry.
