Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Diagnostic Radiology department at Seton Cedar Park Medical Center in Cedar Park, TX. Schedule is evenings, full-time, Monday through Thursday, 12:30pm–11pm.

You will perform high-quality imaging, ensure radiation safety, and coordinate with the care team within the EHR and PACS systems. Minimum requirements include ARRT Radiography credential, Texas certification, and BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography credential required prior to hire.
• Texas Radiologic Technologist Certification required prior to hire.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging to assist physicians in accurate diagnosis.
• Position patients accurately and select precise exposure factors for optimal image quality and radiation safety.
• Administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice per regulations.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to monitor patient safety and document history in the EHR.
• Perform regular equipment quality control and ensure prompt submission of images to PACS.
