Job summary

Ascension in Kyle, TX is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging within the Diagnostic Radiology department. You will position patients, select exposure factors, and uphold radiation safety to support accurate diagnoses.

You will administer contrast media per scope, document clinical history in the EHR, perform equipment QC, and ensure fast delivery of digital images to PACS for streamlined workflows.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program credentialed prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging as a Radiologic Technologist to assist physicians in accurate patient diagnosis and medical problem-solving.
• Position patients accurately and select precise exposure factors to ensure optimal image quality while maintaining strict radiation safety protocols.
• Administer contrast media and medications within the Radiologic Technologist scope of practice following all state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to monitor patient safety and document clinical history within the EHR system.
• Perform regular equipment quality control and ensure prompt submission of all digital images to PACS for streamlined clinical workflows.
