Job summary

City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor to oversee building maintenance services and manage relationships with Independent Contractors delivering on client expectations. The role emphasizes quality assurance, process improvement, and effective communication.

The position is 2nd shift (evening) with travel across Baltimore County and neighboring areas. A high school diploma and 2–3 years of management experience are required; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of prior management experience; coaching, motivating, developing others.
• Building, facilities or janitorial industry experience is a plus.
• Strong planning, organization, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual capability would be a plus.
• Requires travel across Baltimore County and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain productive relationships with Independent Contractors (IC) by communicating client priorities and collaborating on solving problems.
• Review scope of work and ensure quality assurance per account to retain existing business and gain new business.
• Communicate with your Manager daily for any issues that need immediate attention, including the nightly recap.
• Make recommendations for IC work assignments, manage to client standards and company guidelines and recommend actions.
• Manage inspections, customer complaints or requests, new account starts-restarts.
• Execute City Wide's New-Start Policy, Customer Compliant Policy, Four Star Policy, and other policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance by ICs with authorized, approved cleaning tools and equipment and their proper use.
• Other duties as necessary.
