Job summary

The City of Roseville is hiring a Custodian in the Public Works Facility Maintenance Division to keep city facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for staff and the public. The role supports a Sunday through Thursday schedule, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, in Roseville, CA.

Qualifications

One year custodial experience in a public, private, or government setting.
Possession of a valid California driver’s license.
Willingness to undergo a Police Department background check and related pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize city buildings and facilities including offices, museums, recreation halls, water treatment plants, and secured facilities.
Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
Identify and report maintenance issues requiring attention.
Work independently and efficiently while upholding high cleanliness and safety standards.
Create a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for employees and the public.
