Endeavor Health's Evanston Hospital is seeking a Mental Health Associate II for a part-time evening shift (3:00PM-11:30PM) totaling 32 hours per week. The role provides direct care to patients with psychiatric disorders and involves participation in treatment planning, supervision of new staff, and maintaining a therapeutic milieu.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in a behavioral health field and at least one year of behavioral health experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Behavioral Health related field is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in behavioral health.
• Maintain information as highly confidential.
• Ability to exercise self-control in potentially volatile situations.
• Maintain professional boundaries and willingness to seek supervision.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct care to patients with psychiatric disorders by participating in treatment planning and implementation.
• Precepts new employees to the unit and trains new Behavioral Health Associates to conduct groups.
• Supports the maintenance of therapeutic milieu and conducts program in services as directed.
• Ensures the safety and well-being of the patients and maintains documentation per procedures.
