Job summary

Bentley Commons is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for our Wellness team in New Jersey. You will administer medications under RN delegation, assist residents with daily living, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure medication safety and quality of care.

PT Evening Shifts (3pm-11pm) are available. The role emphasizes compassionate patient support and teamwork in a senior-care environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current New Jersey CMA certification.
• Must maintain active NJ CNA/CHHA/PCA certification for CMA eligibility.
• Ability to follow RN direction, provider orders, and community policies.
• Proficient in basic computer skills for electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications under RN delegation and direction.
• Follow medication administration records and pharmacy labels.
• Verify resident identity and medication information before administration.
• Document medications administered, withheld, or refused accurately and promptly.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and report to RN.
• Maintain medication carts and storage areas.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Promote medication safety and infection-control practices.
