Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking an energetic Physical Therapist Aide to join our multidisciplinary team in Commack, NY. You will assist therapists, prepare therapy rooms, and support patients through exercises and treatments in a collaborative, compassionate environment.

The position requires covering 15-20 minutes travel from home to clinic and includes on-site shifts Tuesday and Thursday from 12pm to 8pm. We value teamwork, patient care, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Scribe for recording and editing therapeutic exercises under supervision.
• Prepares patients for therapy by guiding to sessions and assisting with equipment.
• Maintains equipment by following maintenance and safety procedures.
• Educates patients on proper use of equipment and exercises.

Responsibilities

• Record and edit therapeutic exercises under supervision.
• Prepare therapy rooms and equipment for sessions.
• Assist patients to and from therapy areas and support prescribed exercises.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising therapist.
• Answer calls and coordinate scheduling with front desk as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of therapy spaces.
