Sharon Health Care Center is seeking a PRSA – Psychosocial Rehabilitative Services Associate for a full-time 1pm-9pm shift. The role involves leading psychosocial group sessions, preparing materials, and creating an engaging, supportive environment for diverse populations.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, be 18+, and hold a Certified Drug Counseling Certificate. Prior experience in long-term care or behavioral health is valued, with training provided where needed.

Formación

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience teaching psychosocial or life-skills groups preferred.
• Experience in long-term care, behavioral health, or geriatric health preferred, but training is available.

Responsabilidades

• Familiarize with group protocols, lesson plans, and materials for each group.
• Prepare group area and ensure supplies are present before start.
• Create an interactive, cheerful environment encouraging attendance and participation.
• Facilitate groups using existing lesson plans and resources.
• Ensure consumer attendance and follow up on attendance issues with the Psychosocial Program Director.
• Complete group notes describing material, responses, and staff recommendations.
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team meetings and suggest referrals based on consumer goals.
