Job summary

The Guidance Center is seeking an Adult Psychosocial Group Leader to join our interdisciplinary team in Kansas. This role serves SPMI/SMI adults in the Center’s Adult Psychosocial Program with evening hours after 5 pm and opportunities to impact the lives of vulnerable community members.

Responsibilities include facilitating groups, updating WRAP and crisis plans, advocating for clients, coordinating resources, and supporting treatment goals within a holistic care model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; degree in Social Work, Psychology, or human service field preferred.
• Six months of paid or volunteer experience working with individuals in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support and follow-through for client goal attainment across life domains.
• Facilitate groups and assist with development of group program curriculum.
• Engage and maintain client relationships; meet clients individually when needed.
• Assist clients/caregivers to locate and use resources to meet goals and needs.

Education
