Job summary

The Guidance Center in Kansas is seeking a Crisis Clinician - Evening to join our interdisciplinary team. The role involves crisis assessments, brief psychotherapy, and mobile crisis interventions across Leavenworth, Atchison and Jefferson counties.

Minimum 40 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday, evenings 1 PM to 9 PM. Competitive salary and benefits including health, retirement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Licensed by Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (LMSW/LMLP/LMFT/LPC/LSCSW/LCPC/LCMFT).
• Minimum one year in crisis stabilization or residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments to justify placement in the Crisis Stabilization Center.
• Deliver brief psychotherapy and motivational interviewing as needed.
• Coordinate program integration with other agency services.
• Manage performance to ensure medically necessary services are provided.
• Respond to crises across Leavenworth, Atchison and Jefferson counties as a mobile team.
• Work additional hours as required to complete duties.
• Ensure services follow clinical guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Document notes, reports, and grants per Quality Improvement standards.
• Organize work to meet performance expectations and center requirements.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with staff, referral sources and partners.
